Bringing Back the Summer

In a second doodle, about 8 months after that first pillow case, and consequentially this past summer, I thought I'd decorate my second pillow case.

This was essentially the design. It was another quick doodle. If you like it, let me know if you want it printed on something, like a kerchief or pillow case :-)

So this is a sample of a thing that I did once. 

Love how vague that sentence is. Okay better put. I got into screen printing because my Hall Director (Hi Victoria!) wanted to show anyone who was interested. She told us to bring something up that we wanted to print on (for our weekly one-on-one). She also said to bring anything we wanted to print... design or whatever.

Being myself, I had forgotten to do something like by a T Shirt. So I looked around my room, last minute, and grabbed a pillow case. I had also forgotten to draw or print anything. When I got to the room to do the one-on-one, I quickly sketched this. And I have since enjoyed it on my pillow every morning. I'll take a picture of the pillow case for you.

The LORD in a Flower

It's been a few days. I've been at home with no Wacom capabilities. So I'm doing this now.

Anywho, this one is concept for a print. If you like it, and would want this on a pillowcase or a handkerchief etc., I'd be down for doing a little more work on it. 30ish minutes of sketching could go a long way.

Hope you like. I like the simplicity of two colors, black and white. I'll experiment more with that in future ones.

Food Stamps

Today's doodle is... well I have no idea.

It's a pun, that's for sure. 

Other than that, it's not that good. Actually, I think I'd prefer to stay away from qualitative speaking for now. No "good" "bad" "ugly" for me. Thus, it's me just randomly doodling and getting used to different programs and brushes etc.

Tomorrow, maybe I'll try something slightly different. I think I'll be home (Reading, MA) tomorrow night anyway. 

Yeah I'll go for a screen print look.

Burning the Midnight Oil

So this is simple. I just got a Wacom tablet. I will be uploading my daily doodles, which is the only way that I'll be getting better. I'll let you know anything there is to know about them. This one? Meh, first ever. Okay... Go!
